Redaspen

Status: Racing

Owner: Equivine Farm
Talented filly. In 2005 she placed third in a PA bred stake at Penn National and followed that up with a nice win in the Foxy JG at Philadelphia Park. She was third in the Mrs Penny Stakes at Philadelphia Park, second in a stake at Delaware Park and at Monmouth. She finished her season in fine style by dominating an allowance field on the turf at Laurel. She has never been out of the first three on the dirt or turf through 2005.

Enjoyed a lengthy winter vacation, and really benefited from it. In 2006 she won her first stakes race in open company at the Meadowlands. She also was impressive in an allowance win at Laurel. She finished the year with a fourth in a $100,000 stake at Laurel. She looks to have improved in 2006, with Beyer numbers of 91 and 93. She is now having her winter break with the idea of coming back for a spring start to the turf season.

2007
Returned to training week of January 15.
Two starts, a third in the Dahlia at Laurel, a win in the Politely at Monmouth

Gator Nation

Status: Racing

Owner: Planetree Farm
Five year old gelding. First venture into racing by the new owners of Planetree Farm. He has now made a few starts. His first start was very encouraging, he was a fast closing third, only just losing out to the second horse, maiden on the turf in Philadelphia Park. He has had a few subsequent races which have not been as promising, but he does appear to be a decent prospect for the turf. He is currently limited to dirt racing. His two most recent starts are an improvement, a close fourth at Laurel followed by a fast closing second on February 22.

Farouche

Status: Racing

Owner: Meg Ferguson
3 yo chestnut filly.

She arrived from a training center in Florida mid June. She made her first start, february 21 at Philadelphia Park. She finished sixth, she had a little troubled trip, hitting the rail which halted her momentum. She would have finished closer.

Luke

Status: Pony

Luke is the stable pony. He is the hardest worker on our team, whether it is keeping company to some of the younger horses when they go to the track or overseeing the works of Redaspen.

Luke has been with the barn for six years and we hope for many more.

Who's Happy

Status: Racing

Owner: Fiasco Farm

Nice rangy filly with a good disposition. She ran her first race in early december. A nice education, she came in fourth at Philadelphia Park. Her second start, January 23 at Philadelphia Park, she ran a nice third.

Since stretching out Who's Happy has reeled off three nice wins at Philadelphia Park.
