Hi! My name is Tiffanie Duncan....

I live in a tiny little place called Brooklyn, Washington (the state, not D.C.) with my husband, John and my daughter, Cassie. The rest of the family includes 2 arabs (1 of which is a slaughter rescue), 3 dogs, 2 ducks, 5 chickens, a rooster and a bunch of barn kitties. I am 45 and still believe my pets understand every word I say to them! I am proud to be able to make contributions, however small, for the cause to save the greatest animal to ever set hooves on the Earth.....The Horse! Horse experience

Our family has had three rescue horses to date, one who was starved, rehabilitated and moved to a wonderful new home with a new boy in his life. Another that was starved terribly who will remain here forever as he was my daughter's save, his name is Second Chance and my daughter is giving him one, now that he's almost fat! He will be her gaming horse next season and that boy is FAST!!! It's amazing what a little love can do! We sadly did not do so well with our other rescue as she had been literally bred to death, blind in both eyes, beaten and starved. She was 30 something when we got her and only made it 8 weeks, she'd gone down sometime in the night and did not get up, but she passed knowing she was loved. We are looking forward to taking in more wonderful horses over the years and either finding them good, caring, loving homes or providing that for them here. I am not an actual rescue as the user name implies, just a country gal who loves all animals and especially the horses!
