BID APPROVAL by With Approval out of Miss Bid by Bold L.B. did not make his racing debut until he was a 4 year old due to a low bowed tendon suffered during initial training. Blessed with speed and the will to run, he had 2 firsts and a second in 4 racing starts but rebowed his tendon and quickly this gelding’s racing career was over.

Horribly swollen and lame, at high risk at the racetrack, he was donated to CANTER by his racing owner looking for help for his injured horse. BID APPROVAL received that help at Michigan State University through an annular ligament desmotomy and tendon splitting. An impressive 17 hand gray, he’s now collecting ribbons in the dressage ring.
