Description of Rescue
501c3 non profit corporation
Location Aptos, Calif.; Size; can care for 16 horses presently and growing
Years of Operations; 2 Type of Rescue; temporary sanctuary for the Mare & foal, pregnant mares and orphaned foals
Fostering procedures; yes, on case by case basis
Adoption policies; contract required, 6 mos waiting period before any individual is allowed to sell animal. PMR retains first right of refusal., microchipping hopefully in the spring.
Source of Horses: auction; feedlot, other rescues, ISPBM IE: displaced wild horses losing their land)

Education programs :We have a community outreach program that specializes in 2 certified therapy animals , miniature horses, they travel to assisted living facilities, nursing homes, rehab centers, pre schools, day care.All for educational and therapeutic purposes.
