Bio
Hello, my name is April, and Zevon is my horse. Zevons Wind is his full name. I live in Greensboro, NC. (MORE TO COME - IN PROGRESS)
Horse experience
I have owned and ridden horses for most of my life, since I was 2 years old. I got my first 1/2 pony-1/2 horse when I was eight. Zevon himself became quite the star on the forum for a bit, due to his loveliness <3, and I love to show him off! (MORE TO COME - IN PROGRESS - believe me, there will be more than you can probably read on all topics!)
FOB activities
Have been an FOB "from the beginning" even before we were called FOBs.
I have sadly been a bit on and off the forum, after "living" there until Feb. 07, :( mostly due to my wildly fluctuating emotions and other personal junk, but have remained with my heart in the group even when I was not there.. I really was. I even had a Barbaro Christmas tree this past yr (2007)and it brightened my Christmas and my soul tremendously!
It is hard to put into words what being a Fan of Barbaro has done for my life, the things I have seen, the miracles, the REAL love, the lifelong friends, those that reached out to me when I was down and out, everything about the "Barbaro Effect".. it is a true phenomenon. The love and care for every creature, the prayers and true concern, and Barbaro's gentle bravery have changed my life forevermore. I believe we will never see anything like this phenomona again. Being part of it all singlehandedly "kept me going" in my darkest moments. (MORE TO COME - IN PROGRESS)
